Bursting onto the drum and bass scene with the sleeve design for John B's seminal "In Transit" album at the age of just seventeen, Ricky Wilson-Cloot AKA Trickartt is a precocious talent. An Apple Mac afficianado since the age of five, teetotal Ricky lives in a surreal world where big hair is king and pirates with giant soup ladles roam the high seas.

From his underground bunker in deepest suburbia he creates some of the most memorable logos and graphic identities in the world of D&B. Spreading his net wide for inspiration and finding it everywhere from his David Bowie singles collection to the animals at the local petting zoo keeps Trickartt's output fresh.

Maintaining strong client relationships ensures that labels like Hospital, Critical, and Beta keep coming back for more. But he's always hungry for a new challenge, and if you ask him nicely, Trickartt might even get involved in design work you need doing, be it logo / label identities, web-design, or sleeve artwork. It's all part of the Trickartt masterplan - helping make the world a prettier, slightly sillier place.
